Our good friends in downstate Michigan had a vision for an updated dining room. It started with a dining table which we built a couple of years ago, and has evolved into its final rendition with the addition of a matching buffet and bar. The buffet has 6 drawers and a large central cabinet with adjustable shelves providing ample storage. A solid walnut top sits atop allowing the beauty of the wood to shine, with some fun legs at the bottom giving it some character. The bar was very enjoyable to craft, as we were given creative freedom with the design. One must have, champagne storage! The addition of a removable drop in wine chilling bucket really makes the piece. There is also solid glass shelving which is supported by dados so it appears to be floating within the piece. Of course there had to be upside down wine glass storage and plenty of horizontal bottle storage. We get to visit often, and we absolutely love getting to see these three pieces together, acting as a canvas for the homeowners impeccable seasonal designs. We are so fortunate to have friends that trust SanderSon Woodcraft to build pieces for their home, which will last for generations.
